The Best / Promising Tobacco Practices in American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) Communities Online Survey is available online:
http://www.natamcancer.org/nttpn1.html
Purpose: The purpose of the online survey is to collect information on what is being done in Native Communities (AIAN) in the area of manufactured tobacco control. This information will be used to help (1) Tribal leaders; (2) urban Indian clinic administrators; and, (3) funding organizations support AIAN tobacco programs that are culturally and geographically relevant to AIAN.
The Survey: The survey consists of 26 questions. It would be helpful if you have your grant description (from your proposal, report, and/or manuscript describing the project) with you when your completing the survey. It would be even better if these are in electronic form so you can cut and paste information into the survey. If you have your project information readily available, the survey should not take longer than 15-20 minutes to complete.
Please Note: The information you provide may be included in an AIAN "Promising Tobacco Practices" paper. Please make certain your community's guidelines are followed (e.g., need Council approval to share results) before you or another member of your project provides the information requested in this survey.
Thank you for your participation.
